I’m a proud Philadelphian whose been in the mental health field for over 15 years. I built Deeply Rooted because Black women deserve evaluations that take their full experience seriously — not just their symptoms. Every day, I’m fueled by a deep sense of purpose to help those I serve unlock their inner potential, discover their authentic selves, and find healing - without all the trial and error of finding someone who understands you.
But it doesn't stop there. I actively invest my time and energy into training and mentoring early career psychologists. Together, we’re working towards building a network of caring professionals who can uplift and empower individuals facing the challenges of today's world.

We use standardized, norm-referenced assessment instruments selected according to evidence-based best practices and each client's individual clinical profile.
We also offer individual therapy for existing clients and forensic evaluations for welfare-involved families and legal matters.

Intake Session: $300
Individual Therapy: $250 per 60-minute session
Testing & Assessment — Tiered private pay options:
Diagnostic Clinical Evaluation + Letter: $900
Short Evaluation + Diagnostic Letter & Report: $1,500
Comprehensive Neuropsychological Evaluation: $2,500
Forensic Assessment: $5,000 - $10,000
A superbill is available upon request for out-of-network reimbursement.

We are fully licensed in Delaware, New York, and Georgia. We are also authorized to practice virtually via telehealth across 42 states through PSYPACT licensure.

While medication can offer valuable support, it is not a standalone solution for all challenges. In fact, true healing often requires a holistic approach that combines medication with counseling.

We believe you shouldn’t be in therapy for the rest of your life. Everyone’s circumstances are unique to them. Your time in therapy depends on your desire for personal development, your commitment, and the factors that are driving you to seek counseling in the first place. Most patients attend regularly for less than 2 years, with quarterly or yearly follow-ups.

This depends on which assessment you’re taking. All assessments begin with an initial intake session to gather background data. However, most standard assessments can be completed within 3-4 hours. For a virtual assessment, we may schedule two testing sessions rather than a longer appointment. We also offer expedited reporting options for those working within tight deadlines. Here is a sample report to show the final result of the assessment process.

If you are unable to attend a session, you can cancel up to 24 hours in advance without incurring a cancellation fee. Otherwise, you will be charged a $250 no-show or late cancellation fee. This fee is not covered by insurance.
